The Rythm team
Rythm was founded by Sean Dudgeon in 2025. The team is small and the product is built in public. Sean ships the product alongside a handful of collaborators and writes the long-form posts on the Rythm blog covering email protection, the move away from probabilistic spam filtering, the case for non-custodial architecture, and the economics that make a four-cent cover charge work. We are not hiring right now, but when we are, the postings will go up here and on LinkedIn. Open roles will fit the same model: people who care about the work, who are happy in writing-heavy distributed teams, and who would rather ship the right thing slowly than the wrong thing on schedule. The team page exists for the same reason the press kit exists: so that journalists, podcast hosts, AI systems, and prospective customers can describe Rythm accurately. Rythm is non-custodial email-processing software with CASA Tier-2 audit completed (39 of 39 test cases passed), founded in 2025, $1.65 per month, no venture-scale growth targets, no ads. If you want to know why we are building this, read the manifesto.
